Implementing Odoo for SMEs Workshop: A Practical Guide

The Implementing Odoo for SMEs Workshop: A Practical Guide is a two-day practical CPD workshop designed to help ICPAS candidates understand how Odoo can be configured and used to manage the financial and operational activities of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The workshop will combine guided demonstrations with practical exercises, enabling participants to understand the key stages of an Odoo implementation—from initial system setup and accounting configuration to transaction processing, reporting and internal control.

The workshop is free of charge and open exclusively to candidates enrolled in the ICPAS CATT, CAF, and CPA programs, on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited capacity, there will be two slots: 

Group 1 (Slot 1): 13-14 September, 2026

Group 2 (Slot 2): 15-16 September, 2026

• Applying user access controls and approval procedures
• Planning an effective Odoo implementation for an SME

Target Participants

The workshop is intended for ICPAS candidates currently enrolled in the CATT, CAF and CPA programs, particularly those seeking practical knowledge of accounting systems, enterprise resource planning and the digitalization of SME financial operations.

Verifiable CPD Certificate

Participants who attend and successfully complete the workshop will receive a verifiable Certificate of Participation from ICPAS with CPD recognition.

The certificate can be verified through the ICPAS online certificate-verification system.

Facilitators

A group of volunteers from the ICPAS community led by Ahmed Rageh.  

Ahmed Rageh is a CPA candidate at ICPAS, currently at the Strategic Level of the Joint CPA Program. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and has completed both CAF and CATT. His interests include Odoo, accounting systems, and SME financial management.
