The Council’s role should remain distinct from daily management while ensuring that ICPAS acts within its mandate.

Approve institutional priorities and guide the long-term development of the profession.

Institutional oversight

Monitor performance, resources, risk and implementation of approved plans.

Professional framework

Oversee qualifications, membership, standards and regulatory development within the applicable framework.

Public accountability

Promote integrity, transparency and decisions consistent with ICPAS’s public-interest role.
