What may be verified?

The records available depend on what has been issued and published in the verification system.

01

CPA and membership

Eligible professional certificates or membership status recorded by ICPAS.

02

CATT

Eligible technician-qualification certificates issued or recognised by ICPAS.

03

CAF

Eligible accountancy-foundation certificates issued by ICPAS.

04

CPD

Selected course, event or participation certificates carrying a verification number.

05

Practising status

Eligible practising certificates or related authorisations included in the public record.

06

Other ICPAS credentials

Other records specifically made available through the official portal.

How it works

Three steps to complete a check.

Use the information exactly as it appears on the certificate or professional record.

1

Open the official service

Use the link on this page rather than an unverified third-party site or forwarded search result.

2

Enter the record details

Search using the certificate or registration information requested by the verification portal.

3

Compare the result

Confirm that the name, credential, number and status shown match the document presented.

If a record cannot be found

Check the spelling and number first. A missing result does not automatically prove that a document is invalid; older or non-public records may require an ICPAS review.
