Join ICPAS and apply for membership 

Candidates eligible for the CPA Somaliland qualification through the Membership Route must meet the following criteria:

1. Membership in an IFAC (International Federation of Accountants) member body in good standing.
2. Successful completion of reading and learning the following a module administered by ICPAS;  Somaliland Taxation and Introduction to Business Law in Somaliland (CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD).
3. Submission of proof of membership in an IFAC member body and successful completion of the local CPA papers as specified above.

• Kindly be aware that you are not authorized to use the CPA (Somaliland) designation until the entire application process is finalized, including the payment of the membership admission fee (payable after the membership application is conditionally approved by ICPAS and before membership admission). 
• In the event that payment for the application fee and membership dues is not received within 30 days of conditional approval, the conditional approval will lapse, and you might need to resubmit your application for evaluation based on the admission requirements in effect at the time of resubmission.

What is next?

• You will receive a confirmation email from ICPAS after submitting your application. Subsequently, the membership committee of the ICPAS board will convene to evaluate your application. Once your application is conditionally approved, you will receive an email confirming your eligibility and providing details, including the membership admission fee.
